Robert V. (Bob) Adkins, age 87, of Caryville passed away Wednesday, October 09, 2013. Member of Caryville First Baptist Church. He retired from Union Carbide, loved fishing and woodworking. Preceded in death by wife, June Adkins; sisters, Frankie & Maxine; brothers, Johnny & Buford Adkins.

Survivors Daughter: Debbie Polson Son: Bobby Adkins & wife Michelle Grandchildren: Tara & Nathan Rendall, Lori, Robert & Courtney Adkins 4 Great-grandchildren Brother: Glen Adkins Several nieces & nephews Special friend: Homer Burchfield, Sr.

Services 8 pm Friday Cross-Smith Chapel Rev. Chris Thomas officiating Interment 11 am Saturday Leach Cemetery in Lake City Family will receive friends 6 pm to 8 pm Friday Cross-Smith Funeral Home Arrangements by Cross-Smith Funeral Home
