She was born on September 1, 1932 to the late Noah and Amelia (Yutzy) Anderson
in Mount Vernon .
She married Jonas A. Nisley on August 22, 1960. He died December 27, 1989.
Mrs. Nisley is survived by three daughters, Kathleen (James) Satkoski of Michigan City,
Michelle K. (Floyd) Beechy of Millersburg and Genie Nisley of Chandler, Arizona;
two sons, David (Nuola) Christ of Middletown, Maryland, and Lee J. (Pennie) Nisley of Millersburg;
12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Donna Nisley
on December 31, 1980, son, John Nisley, September 5, 1995; and a brother, Wayne Frey.
A longtime Goshen resident, Mrs. Nisley was a member of Zion Community Church, Millersburg.She served in the Women's Air Corp in Germany during the Korean War.
Friends may call 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 10, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home
and one hour prior to the 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2011, funeral service
at the Zion Community Church, Millersburg. Pastor Chris Howell will officiate.
Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be given to New Hope Pet Rescue.
