Daughter of Massie Runyon (1768-1870) who was born in Fredrick Maryland and John Masoner (1764-1830) who was born Montgomery (Colony of Virginia) British America. Both Massie & John died in Miegs County, Tennessee

Massie Runyon's parents are:
Issac Runyon (1738-1821)
Charity Hageman (1740-1819)

Prudence born presumably in Green Co, TN
Brothers:
Trevnor Masoner (1799-1864)
Issac Masoner (1797-1882)

Prudence married Thomas Marion Harp b. 15 Aug 1789. They married in Overton County, TN in 1820. Prudence and Thomas eventually settled in Marshall County, Mississippi, where Thomas died 1 May 1850.

Prudence and several of her children then moved to Morehouse Parish and lived "out on the Bonne Idee"

"Grandma Prudence Harp probably gave more Buck Privates to the Confederate Army and fewer Generals than any mother between the Potomac River and the Rio Grande. A lot never came back." Pg 80 "My Kinfolk" by grandson, Thomas Young "T.Y." Harp

Children born to Sarah Angeline (Stevenson) and Thomas M. "Young Harp" were Tina (d infant) and Oliver Young "Ollie" Harp. (b c 1868; m Cornelia Burns) Young Harp and Angeline Harp died before 1873. Their son, Ollie, was cared for by Prudence until her death in 1877. At that time Rufus Kelley Harp took care of Ollie.
