Bobbie was born January 31, 1927 in Paris, Texas to Robert Akard and Eva (Maynard) Akard. She grew up in the Texas panhandle community of Memphis, moving to Amarillo, Texas as a young adult where she met and married J. D. Andrews. They moved to Tulsa where they had two children Phil and Terri. Bobbie worked many years as a bookkeeper.

Later she married Phil E. Vogt. Upon retirement they moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas. She enjoyed her retirement bowling, playing golf and bridge. Bobbie always enjoyed a card game and especially enjoyed playing a game of "13" with the grandchildren or anyone she could corral.

Survivors include her two children Phil Andrews and his wife Jeanne, and Terri Alexander of Broken Arrow, OK; one stepson Bruce Vogt and his wife Anne of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Charles Akard and wife Ellen of Lawton, Oklahoma; one sister Joyce Byers and her husband Oliver of Katy, Texas. Four grandchildren Kimberly Andrews of Tulsa, OK, Amy Alexander of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Andy Alexander of Miramar, FL, and Jennifer Rackley and her husband Ronnie of Broken Arrow, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her brothers Aubrey, Eldon, John and J.D. Akard; sisters Pauline Whitlock and Barbara Akard.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2010 at Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, OK.
