Pauline Taylor, 80, died Monday, September 16, 1996 in Wellington.

She was born October 6, 1915 in Texline to Robert and Eve Maynard Akard. She came to Memphis in1945 and moved to Childress in 1947.

She married Clarence Taylor in December of 1986 in Childress. He died in 1995 and she moved to Wellington in 1995.

She was a home maker and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Paula Wilkins of Wellington; two brothers, Charles Akard of Lawton, OK and J.D. Akard of Coffeyville, KS; three sisters: Bobbie Vogt of Buena Vista; Joyce Byers of Katy and Barbara Akard of Lawton; two granddaughters, Julie Lowery of Amarillo and Penny Davis of Wellington; one great-granddaughter, Macy Davis of Wellington.
