Agatha "Ida" Ascioti Falcone, 93, died Saturday in the Van Duyn Home & Hospital. A native of Philadelphia, she resided in Solvay and Syracuse most of her life and was a former communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church and most recently St. Cecilia's Church in Solvay. She was the widow of Joseph D. Falcone, who died January 26, 1998.
She is survived by two sisters: Nesta C. Ascioti of Solvay and Jennie M. Denti of Solvay; a brother, Anthony J. "Tony" Ascioti of Camillus; nieces and nephews: Albert and Jeanne Denti; Demetri, Joey and Jimmy Ascioti; Anthony Ascioti; Carolyn Guidetti; and Catherine Maze.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 514 Turtle Street, Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
