OBITUARY OF FAUN H. STAKER
Faun H. STAKER, treasured mother and wife, passed away Friday September 15, 2000. She left her earthly existence peacefully in her home in Provo, Utah.
Faun was born March 14, 1920 in Fairview, Utah to James E. HOUSEKEEPER and Alice Vance HOUSEKEEPER. She married Rex C. STAKER of Mount Pleasant, Utah, July 05, 1940. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple June 02, 1981.
Faun performed, with excellence, in a varied career field ranging from a telephone operator in California to being a seamstress assembling parachutes in Manti, Utah in support of World War II. She served admirably as the bookkeeper in support of her husband Rex's 30-year career as an agent for AMOCO and State Farm Insurance. She fulfilled a major role as a dedicated, loving wife, mother, and homemaker.
In social activities, she was a member of the Fine Arts Club, the J.C. Ettes and the Lion's Club. She assisted in the editing and publication of the book, These Our Fathers.
Faun is survived by her husband Rex, Provo, Utah; son, Kim R. STAKER, West Valley, Utah, son, Ryan C. STAKER, and granddaughter, Candace STAKER, both of Wichita, Kansas.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2000, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, Orem, Utah. No Funeral Services will be held per the request of the deceased. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Utah Cemetery.
