Edna Granger Dominque, 93, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in a local hospital.
She was a faithful member of St. John Catholic Church. She retired from the Lacassine School Cafeteria after 30 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Lee Roy Domingue and wife, Dean of Lake Charles, Anthony "Tony" Domingue and wife, Mary of Franklin, TN; daughter, Sarrita Ryder and husband, Dores of Lake Charles; sister, Natalie Guillory of Lake Charles; 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 13 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eclan Domingue; two sons, Elie and Herbert Domingue; three brothers and two sisters.
Her funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at St. John Catholic Church. Rev. Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh from 3-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. til time of service. Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Thursday evening.
