The funeral of Steven Baer, who died Friday, occurred Sunday in the Christian church. Rev. C. H. Leason, of Fowler, preached the funeral discourses. The Odd Fellows, of which lodge he was a member, attended in a body, also a large concourse of sympathizing friends. He was a member of the Christian church here, an exemplary young man, and leaves a young widow. Interment was made in Stockwell cemetery.
