The funeral of the late John A. Baer, who died at his home near Stockwell yesterday, occurs to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock. The cortege will leave the family residence at that hour and the services will be held in the Christian church at Stockwell. The interment will be in the Johnson cemetery under the auspices of the Odd Fellows and Pythian lodges. Uremia poisoning was the cause of his death. He was born in Ray County, Missouri, October 8, 1841. Mr. Baer was a soldier in the Civil war and was a valiant one. He was married March 24, 1864, to Miss Jeannette Johnson, who died in 1881. Three children survive that marriage. In December, 1881, he was married to Miss Sarah E. Baer and four children survive, that union. Seven years ago, he was married to Miss Sarah [sic] Payne, who survives. He was one of the best known men in the country.
