Thomas Rudolph Harward, age 84, died Oct. 12, 1992 at the home of his son.

He was born December 18, 1907 in Aurora, Utah, a son of Ozias Strong and Frances Eva Curtis Harward. He married Irene Sudweeks, September 6, 1933 in the Manti LDS Temple; she died January 29, 1992. He grew up in Aurora. He served a mission to the North Western States. He and his wife lived in Provo over 40 years, where he worked as a Provo City fireman and in American Fork for over 10 years, where they managed the Golden Age Apartments for Senior Citizens.He is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Robert (Charlene) Stowell, Fontana, Calif.; Mrs. Ray (Carol Lee) Asbell, Madison, Mississippi; and Keith Thomas Harward, Provo; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Heber Harward, Provo. He was preceded in death by his wife, 13 brothers and sisters and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 1992, 11 a.m. at the Provo North Stake Center, 1122 No. Grand Ave. Friends may call at Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 E. Center, Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment: Provo City Cemetery.
