SHORE

Matha J. Shore, daughter of Albert Schinderling and Clara Jordan Schinderling, was born Oct. 5, 1913 in Ramona, S.D. and passed away at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton, Feb. 10, 1981 at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 5 days.

She was united in marriage to Leland Earl Shore on Aug. 26, 1932 in Onida, S.D.. To this union were born two children, Marvin Lee and Linda Lea Greubel.

Matha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers and one sister.

Surviving are her two children, Marvin and wife, Rosie and Linda and husband, Darrell Greubel, all of Chariton, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one sister, Betty Parks of Burbank, Calif.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 13, 1981 at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. Fr. James Kiernan conducting. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.

Memorials have been established to the Iowa Society for the Preservation of Blindness.
