Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Whidden, 50, wife of Bertie Whidden of Salem, N.Y., who died unexpectedly at home Dec 9, were conducted Wednesday at the McClellan Funeral Home in Salem by the Rev. Ernest Butler, pastor of the Salem United Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, she leaves three daughters; a son, Bertie Jr. of Schuylerville; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Woodard of Bennington and Mrs. Mabel Christman of Shushan, N.Y.; six brothers, William Skidmore of Manchester; George and Millard Skidmore, both of Bennington; Floyd of East Arlington; Kenneth of White Creek, and Harry, also of Vermont.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Salem.
