Baby Girl Souter was stillborn, the first born of twins. Her surviving twin brother was Harrison "Harry" Roe Souter. They were the youngest children of Robert and Catherine Roe Souter and were born in Provo, Utah, on March 8, 1926.

The twins had eight brothers and sisters: Irma Sally, Robert Alma, Andrew, Carl Howard, Catherine, Bernice, Fannie R and James Roe Souter.
