Mary Libera Addabbo, 88, of 1004 Cogswell Ave., Solvay, died Tuesday afternoon at Community-General Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Addabbo was born in Ferrazzano, Italy, and lived in Solvay 69 years. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society and Molinarese Society Auxiliary. She was also a member of Solvay Senior Citizens. Mrs. Addabbo was a Gold Star Mother.
Surviving are two sons, Frank of Lyncourt and Michael of Syracuse; four daughters, Elizabeth Latimer and Rose Zappala, both of Solvay, Lucy Waters of Westvale, and Mary Brady of Lakeland; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.
