Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Sally Reames DuRant.
Miss DuRant was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a retired school teacher of Sumter County.
Surviviors include four sisters, Lurline D. Pate of Columbia, Baylis D. Buddin and Hattie DuRant, both of Sumter, and Janie Alvarez of Mexico City, Mexico.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Trinity United Methodist Church with Dr. Reuben Marlowe and the Rev. Stern Bolte officiating. Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Mathis, Robbie Vermeland, Norman Buddin, Greg Stone, Johnny Spann and Lucius DuRant.
Honorary pallbearers will be Norwood Spann, Charles Chandler, Wilbur Spann, Billy Bradley and Jackie Bradley.
