The Allen County native was a nurse's aide at Medco of Bowling Green, a former employee of Holley Carburetor and Fruit of the Loom, a member of Shady Grove General Baptist Church and attended Round Pond Presbyterian Church. She was a daughter of the late Henry Bennett Cornwell and Margie Odell Sledge Cornwell.

Funeral is at 1 pm Saturday at Goad Funeral Home, with burial in Round Pond Cemetery. Visitation is in progress today at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Lucas of Bowling Green; three daughters, Patricia Graves of Glasgow, Melissa Johnson and her husband, James, of Bowling Green and Angie Goodrum and her husband, Brent, of Franklin; a stepdaughter, Tammy Flaskamp and her husband, Johnny, of Branden, Fla; four brothers, S.B. Cornwell and his wife, Sue, Buck Cornwell and his wife, Karen, Timmy Cornwell and his wife, Kay and Mikey Cornwell and his wife, Cathy, all of Scottsville; three sisters, Wilma West and her husband, David, and Pansy Powell and her husband, Harry, all of Scottsville, and Ida McGuffey and her husband, Junior, of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Bradley and Haleigh Johnson and Lane and Garrett Goodrum; two stepgrandchildren, Adam and Ashley Flaskamp; and several nieces and nephews.
