SCOTTSVILLE — Rondel Dean Cornwell, 59, of Scottsville died at 4:15 a.m. Aug. 21, 2003, at his home. The Allen County native was a farmer. He was a son of the late Henry Bennett Cornwell and Margie Odell Sledge Cornwell. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Henry Cornwell; and two sisters, Linda Faye Cornwell and Barbara Norman. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Dottie Cornwell; a son, Robbie Neil Cornwell of Scottsville; a daughter, Donna Michelle Cornwell Haven of Scottsville; four brothers, S.B. Cornwell and Glendal Ray "Buck" Cornwell, both of Scottsville, and Timothy Allen Cornwell and Michael Jeffery Cornwell, both of Westmoreland, Tenn.; five sisters, Joyce Lavern Plumlee of Moss, Tenn., Wilma Dee West and Pansy Mae Powell, both of Scottsville, and Ida Pearl McGuffey and Martina Lee Lucas, both of Bowling Green; and three grandchildren, Joshua Neil Cornwell, Jeremy Haven and Logan Haven, all of Scottsville.
