FRANK R. BLECHL

Frank R. Blechl, 89, of 1656 Georgia St., died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home.
He was born Aug. 1, 1889, in Austria, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Blechl. He was married to Clara Traxler, Aug. 8, 1916, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oshkosh. She preceded him in death.
Mr. Blechl was a retired employee of Rockwell International, and a member of UAW, Local 291.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Wilma) Kalous, Oshkosh; four sons; Frank and Gilbert, both of Oshkosh, Gerald, Mount Prospect, ILL., and James Indianapolis, IND.; One brother, Edward Blechl, Seatlle, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Barbara Getchius, Oshkosh; 34 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Poklasny Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, the Rev. Roger McClone officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
