Mrs. Emma Wolfmeyer, 86, of 332 S. Main St. Brillion, died Saturday afternoon at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay, after a short illness.
A native of the town of Brillion, she was born Aug. 10, 1871, the daughter of Fred and Caroline Persohn Bastian. On Dec. 10, 1891 she was married to John M. Wolfmeyer. They farmed near Brillion until 1927 when they moved to Brillion. Her husband died in 1935. She was a member of the Brillion Methodist Church, was a charter member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church, and also held various offices in the former Ladies Aid of the church.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ed (Hulda) Kreimann and Mrs. Bennie (Edna) Zick of Brillion, Mrs. Harvey (Esther) Schnell of Appleton; two sons, Alvin of Brillion, Nelson of Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Henry and Phillip of Brillion, Fred of Eden, Wis., and two sisters, Mrs. Richard Huebner of Brillion, and Mrs. William Wiese of Rhinelander. She was preceded in death by two sons.
