The former Clara Bastian, she was born March 18, 1892 in Brillion, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Bastian. She was married to The Rev. Dr. Wiese on Dec. 10, 1914 in Brillion. The couple lived in Chase, Sheboygan, Beaver Dam, Clintonville and Rhinelander where the Pastor Wiese served Methodist congregations until retiring in Appleton in 1964. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Appleton.
Survivors are her husband, a son, Paul of Plymouth, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Ida Huebner and a brother, Philip Bastian both of Brillion. A daughter, four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
