Sarah "Sally" MacClure Doolittle was the 6th child of William MacClure and Sarah Farnham. She married Cyrus Doolittle about 1822 in Windsor, Broome County, New York. They had four children, Sarah Maria, Darwin Cyrus, Edgar (Died as an infant) and Edwin. Sally's husband, Cyrus, died in 1856 in Windsor, Broome County, New York, and some time thereafter she either traveled with or later joined her son Dr. Darwin Cyrus Doolittle in Illinois.
