Death of Mrs. John Lewis
Mrs. John Lewis, a highly respected lady died at her home at Old Frost Mines on Saturday
morning, after a continued illness of several years.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Frostburg and has lived here all of her life. She was a lady of strong
Christian character and loved by a large circle of friends.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. John Lewis, and the following children. Measrs., Wm.
Lewis, Roy Lewis, Mrs. Emma Kallmyer, Mrs. Clara McFarland, Mrs. Mary Siebert.
Mr. Nimrod K. Meyers and Mrs. Ida Thomas, all of Frostburg, Andrew and James Meyers,
of Paris Kentucky, John Meyers, of Addison, Pa., Samuel and Wm. Meyers, of Eckhart.
The funeral occurred yesterday from her late home at Frost Mines. Interment in Allegany Cemetery
According to her obit she was buried in Allegany Cemetery which is now Frostburg Memorial. Online records have she was buried in Eckhart Mines Cemetery
