Saleta was the daughter of Thomas Lafayette & Sarah Ann Priscilla (Stansell) Shields. She married William Ernest Miller in Denison, Grayson Co, TX on April 7, 1918.
Dora May (Wise) Miller, wife of Ernest Clyde Miller & daughter-in-law of Saleta, said that she enjoyed being around her mother & father-in. They were a pleasant couple who were easy-going & mild-mannered.
Saleta died almost three years before her husband.
