DIED.
SPARKS--At her home in this city, Thursday Oct. 15, 1S93. Mrs. J. M. Sparks aged 65 years.
Deceased was born in West Virginia, Aug. 29, 1828. After a residence of 17 years in Hancock county, Ohio, where she was married. Mr. and Mrs. Sparks came west in 1850 and settled on land near Elwood, Clinton county. After her husband's death a few years ago, she removed to Maquoketa. The funeral occurred Friday, Rev. Heald officiating and the remains were laid to rest beside her husband in the Elwood cemetery.
