Venetta "Nita" Stattner Chrz, 63, of Caldwell, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000 at home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Pastor Al Nelson will officiate. A private burial will be held at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
Nita was born Oct. 23, 1937 at Enid, Okla. to Jones Stattner Sr. and Sarah Eells Stattner. She moved with her family to Idaho where she attended school at Sunny Slope, Central Cove and Homedale High School.
Nita was a loving mother and grandmother, affectionately known as "Peek-a-boo," who will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends.
Nita is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Opal and John Grim, and Carylon and Tom Callsen, all of Caldwell; two brothers and their wives, Jones and Norma Stattner of Caldwell, and John and Thelma Stattner of Nampa; a sister, Mary Ann Bow of Caldwell; a sister-in-law, Darlene Stattner of Caldwell; four grandchildren, Dustie and her husband Brett Paynter, Brody and his wife, Dana Puckett, Stacia and Shasta Callsen, all of Caldwell; two great-grandchildren, Aspen and Brennen Paynter of Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jim, and two nephews.
Memorials may be made to Life's Doors Hospice, 111 S. Orchard, Boise 83705; or St. Luke's Neonatal ICU, 190 E. Bannock, Boise, 83712.
