--Mother of 9 children: Gilmer Wilson (1891-1909), Clarence Stevenson (1893-1981), Elsie Mae (1894-1979), Samuel McKee (1896-1975), Charles Edward (1898-1983), Jefferson Davis (1902-1974), Ruth Catherine (1905-1996), Mary Ellen (1908-2008), and Mattie Lucile Swaringen (1911-1994).
--Member of the Hickory Grove Methodist Church in Hickory Grove (Mecklenburg County).
--Later relocated to the mill village of North Charlotte in Charlotte.
--Her family was saved in the Garr Auditorium in the 1930 revivals.
--Honored with the title of 'Mother of the Year' at the Garr Auditorium on May 11, 1948.
--Died at the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte of a heart attack at age 77.
