Arthur Lee Stilwell, aged 36, died at his home on East avenue at 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning following a short attack of influenza, followed by pneumonia.
Mr. Stilwell had conducted a grocery business in Charlotte for several years and was well and favorably known by a large number of friends. His courteous and pleasing manner won for him an enviable reputation among the business men of the city.
The deceased leaves a wife, May, and one adopted child. Funeral services were conducted at the graveside in Elmwood cemetery at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
