Evelyn Hamilton Jones, 97, died Friday in the Hill Haven Nursing Home in Marietta after a long illness.
The Dodge County native lived in Marietta most of her life. She was a member of the Atlanta First Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Marion J. Braxton, Smyrna; a son, Eugene T. Jones, Columbia, S.C.; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service and burial will be Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in Eastside Cemetery.
