TRUEBLOOD
WREN - Thomas Trueblood, 81, father of Mrs. Dwight Snyder of Wren, died last evening at his residence in Portland, Ind., of complications resulting from 16 years' illness.
Born in Randolph County, Ind., he had been a resident of Portland most of his life. He operated a grocery there for about 35 years, retiring when he became ill 16 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Portland and burial will be in Green Park Cemetery there. Friends may call at the Williamson Funeral Home in Portland.
Other survivors are his widow, Harriett; another daughter, Mrs. Virgil Hampshire, Portland; a brother, James, Lehigh, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Coulson and Mrs. Clara Metz of Portland; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
