In June 1926 Ora Belle Martin and her brothers were placed in the Davis Child Cneter. The story is that the mother had deserted the family and the father couldn't take care of them. Ora Belle was adopted by the J. Clyde Weekly family May 17,1928 ( or Jan. 1929) Minnie Sparks Martin had relinquished her parental rights on June 29, 1926. Their father came to visit the children at the Davis Child Center.
Ora Belle Martin, first married to Winfred Raney Honaker March 19, 1930 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky. They had the following children: Reba Ellen Honaker Jones, Paul Arthur Honaker, Winifred Floyd Honaker, Dorothy Jean Smith Workman, Wanda Fay Trabert, Larry Honaker, Marion T Honaker, William Amos Honaker and Philip Ramey Honaker
She second married Charles Jaques.

Mrs. Ora Jaques, 43, wife of Charles Jaques of RR5 died at 1 p.m. Friday in Wilson Memorial Hospital. She had been seriously ill for the past two weeks with cancer.
Born in Charleston, W. Va, April 17, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Martin. She was married Feb. 4, 1942 and came to Sidney from Pt. Pleasant, W. VA, in 1943. She was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors are her husband, four children at home, Charles Jr., 15, Roy Rogers, 13, Jimmy 11, and Dennis Eugene, 10, three daughters and four sons by a former marriage. Mrs. Norman Jones of RR6, Mrs. Ivan Smith of Huntington, W. VA., and Mrs. Robert Trabert of West Liberty, Paul Honaker, of Pt. Pleasant, W. Va., Winfred Honaker of Canton, Larry Honaker in the military service in Tennessee, and Marion Honaker of California, 16 grandchildren; four brothers, Carl, Raymond and Dale Martin of Charleston, W. Va., and Jack Martin of Texas. Two sons, William Amos and Phillip Ramie Honaker preceded her in death. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in the Dearth Funeral home. Burial will be in Glenn Cemetery, Port Jefferson.
