Mrs. Ina B. Austin, 81, a longtime resident of South New Berlin, died Friday, 19 July at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be at 3PM Sunday 21 July at the Tamsett Funeral Home, South New Berlin, with the Rev. Kenneth Simpson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, South New Berlin, officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, South New Berlin.

She was born 31 December 1886 in Binghamton, a daughter of Harlow and Louise (Holmes) Bisbee. Her childhood was spent in Binghamton and Howard, Kansas. She was married to Millard E. Austin on 12 January 1912 at Binghamton.

She and her husband formerly operated an electrical store and were in the maple syrup business.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, South New Berlin; the South New Berlin Fireman’s Auxiliary.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Esther Brooks and Miss Helen J. Austin, both of South New Berlin, and Mrs. Mildred Silliman, Sidney; a son, Harlow H. Austin, South New Berlin; five grandchildren, a great grandchild, and two nieces.
