Miss Mary Broughton, daughter the late Henry Broughton, for years a steamboat engineer at Point Isabel, died in Brownsville Tuesday night and was buried on Wednesday afternoon from the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Interment was in the City Cemetery. Miss Broughton, who was born at Point Isabel 44 years ago, had been ill about two months. She is survived by several brothers and sisters, Henry Broughton, Willie Broughton, Miss Lillie Broughtun, Mrs. Ernest Cloyd, Mrs. John Simo, and Mrs. Ramon Delgado.
