LIVINGSTON -- Funeral services for Velma Lee Ledbetter, 75, of Livingston, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery in Overton County.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 8, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ledbetter died Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 27, 1935 in Overton County to the late Luther and Susie Elvise McDonald Eldridge. She was a garment factory worker.
She was a member of the Harris Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Anderson and Deborah Ledbetter, both of Livingston; 4 grandchildren, Garrick Anderson & wife, Kim, Heather Anderson, Steven Goodpasture, & Brad Goodpasture; and 5 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Brandon Tyler, and Hayley Anderson & Seth Cunningham.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leicel Ledbetter; daughter, Annette Threet; sisters, Myrtle Brown, Hassie Swallows, Etta Jane Ledbetter, & Linnie Belle Danner; and a brother, J. B. Eldridge.
Pallbearers to serve are Joshuah, Brandon, and Garrick Anderson, Doug Boles, and Steven & Brad Goodpasture.
