Mrs. Myrtle Irene Brown passed away July 5, 2001, at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born November 13, 1917 in Overton County to the late Luther and Susie(McDonald)Eldridge. She was a housewife and a member of the Harris Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws, Melvin and Golda Brown of Rickman, Billy Joe and Janice Brown of Hanceville, Al; Ernest and Pam Brown of Mayland Community, Doug and Cornetta Brown of Hanging Limb, Danny and Joyce Brown of Brentwood, Tn, Donald and Heidi Brown of Rickman, Carol Brown of Akron, OH; daughters and sons-in-law; Fannie Mae and Albert Harris of Algood, Joyce and Beecher Brown of Monterey, Janice and Bill Burks of Hilham, and Carol Dunn of Baxter, TN; 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, sister Velma Lee Ledbetter, brother J.B. Eldridge, and a special niece, Earlene Dickson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Elanza Brown, 2 sons, Junior and Gary Brown, 3 sisters, Etta Jane Ledbetter, Linne Bell Danner, and Hassie Swallows.
