In 1871, Caleb's widow Catherine and most of their children moved to Fannin Co., Texas. Martha "Carrie" was about 17 years old at the time.
She married (1) C.L. Pearson in Fannin Co. April 12, 1874 and they had one known child - May Pearson. C.L. died before the 1880 census.
She married (2) David Harrison Trout in Fannin Co. Nov. 24, 1880. They had three children - Beulah V., Oney Lee, and Grace J. Trout.
They lived in Arkansas and Oklahoma before settling in the Denison area of Grayson Co., Texas. She died there in 1934 and her husband in 1936.
Note, she was born in 1854 according to her death certificate and the 1900 census. (Death cert. at familysearch.org under name Carrie M Trout.)
