William Edmonston Loftiss, 61, of 5343 Hebron, mechanical Supervisor for Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, at 3 a.m. today at Methodist Hospital South. He was a Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite, Saman Grotto and Stephenson's Chapel Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Monez James Loftiss; three daughters, Mrs. Diane Smiley of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Nodya Hair and Mrs. Sherry Raggett, both of Memphis; Two brothers, Charles Loftiss of Memphis and (Berle-sic) Verl Andrew of Hernando, Miss; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Richerson of Memphis; and two grandchildren.
