Mrs. Rachael Snedden, widow of Richard Snedden of 430 Arago St died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Enders, 920 Butler Street, Saturday evening at 9:30 o'clock. Fueral rites for her will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Frank M. Endsley Funeral home. Burial will be in the Luterhan cemetery.

Mrs. Snedden was the daughter of James and Agnes Dempster, she was born in Ayshire, Scotland, May 20, 1870. She came to this city from there 52 years ago and was married here to Richard Snedden who died in September 1918. Surviving are her four daughters, Mrs. Enders, Mrs Agnes Smythe, Kansas City, MO; Mrs. Jeanette Stengel, Terre Haute, IN; Mrs. Sarah Hummel, Mount Rose, IA; five sons, Richard W., Donaldson, IA; John, Des Moines, IA; James, George, and Richard all of Peoria; two brothers, Robert Cody, WY; William, Chicago; four sisters, Mrs. Agnes Zimmerman, Mrs. Jessie Jones. both of Peoria; Mrs. Margaret Kirby, Joliet, and Mrs. Sarah Hoffman, Deerfield, IL.
