"He died at the age of 81 years. Services will be held at his daughter Rachel's home and the body will be taken to the Presbyterian Church on Farmington Road where services will be held at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in the Cameron cemetery behind the church. He is survived by 4 sons, John, William, Robert, and James; six daughters, Mrs. T. Royster, Mrs. E. Davis, Mrs. John Hoffman, Mrs. Jessie Jones, Mrs. Kirby, and Mrs. Snedden".
