Death of Mrs. Shrimplin

Many hearts were made sad and sorrowful Tuesday evening when the news spread that Mrs. A. M. Shrimplin had passed away after only a few days illness, death being caused by an infection of the ear that affected the brain. Mrs. Lulu Shrimplin, daughter of James and Anna Allison was born near Millersburg, Holmes county, Ohio, March 14, 1868 and answered the Heavenly Father's call to the fuller life April 10, 1923, at the age of 55 years and 26 days. On September 24, 1893, she was untied in marriage to A. M. Shrimplin, at Welcome. For a number of years they conducted the concession stand at Odell's Lake but of recent years have given their entire time to the conduct of the music store in this place. Mrs. Shrimplin became a Christian in early childhood and untied with the Welcome Christian church and afterward transferred her membership to Loudonville and later became a member of the Loudonville Baptist Church where she remained an active member until her death. She affiliated with the Willing Workers and Dorcas Society, was a teacher in the Bible School and had great interest in the church and kingdom. She leave to mourn her departure the bereaved husband, one brother, D. E. Allison and one sister, Mrs. M. G. Bird of near Millersburg, Mrs. Vergil Cline of Angola, Indiana, and many other relatives and friends. She was a loving companion, kind neighbor and sincere christian. Funeral services conducted by her pastor, Rev. H. H. Hoyt, are being held in Baptist church this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Interment will be in the Loudonvillle cemetery.
