Born November 18, 1911 in Nephi, Utah to Herbert Henry and Bertha Elizabeth Belliston Greenhalgh. He married Sadie Green May 2, 1934 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died May 20, 1991. Survived by his children: Evan and Alice Greenhalgh, Vacaville, Calif.; Jeniel Wing, Provo; Joyce and Keith McCaffery, Nephi; Marion Lee and Charlotte Greenhalgh, Yucaipa, Calif.; David and Toby Greenhalgh, West Valley City; Steven Painter, Tooele; Gene and Cheryl Painter, Magna; 25 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Clarence Greenhalgh, Lucille Carter, and sister-in-law, Sadie Greenhalgh, all of Nephi; Mae Welch, Sumner, Wash.; Nina Day, Salt Lake City; sister-in-law, Lazelle Greenhalgh of Orem.
Preceded in death by twin sister, Lillian; and brothers, Joseph William, Herbert Henry, and Franklin Pass Greenhalgh.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 12, 1993 in the Nephi 5th Ward Chapel, 345 East 500 North. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, Utah, and Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial in the Vine Bluff Cemetery.
