NEPHI--Clarence (Pete) Greenhalgh, age 83, passed away April 19, 1999 in Nephi, Utah.
He was born November 21, 1915 in Nephi, Utah to Herbert Henry and Bertha Belliston Greenhalgh. He married Janet Bailey December 14, 1945 in the Manti LDS Temple.
He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many positions including an ordinance worker in the Manti Temple. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army and was a member of the American Legion for 50 years. He was a hard worker and loved his family.
Survived by his wife of Nephi; children, Betty Jo (Russell) Morgan; Glenn W. (Peggy) Greenhalgh all of Nephi; Stephen K. (Dorothy) Greenhalgh of Falls Church, VA; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 1999, in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home 94 West 300 North and at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial in the Vine Bluff Cemetery Nephi, Utah.
