Herbert H. Grasse

Herbert H. Grasse, 85, of Cicero, died Thursday at University Hospital. A native of Deferiet, he resided in Cicero for many years. He also had a camp in the Thousand islands. He received his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University in 1943. Mr. Grasse retired in 1984 from the Metropolitan Water Board and in 1970 from Allied Chemical Company. He was an avid fishman.
Survivors are: his wife, the former Marie Feisthamel; a son and daughter-in-law, Herbert and Terrie Grasse of Scottsdale, AZ; a daughter, Linda Grasse-Murray of Oswegatchie, NY; a stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Roxanne and Stephen Sopchak of Syracuse; a grandson, Sterling and his wife Julie of Phoenix, AZ; a stepdaughter, Lorien Sopchak of Syracuse; and two great-grandsons, Kennedy and Declan Grasse.
Services will be Friday at 12 noon at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main St., North Syracuse. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at the family's convenience.
