HAMPTON - Alice V. Nightengale, 82, died Tuesday, April 24, in Mary Immaculate Hospital, Newport News.
A native of James City County, Mrs. Nightengale was a Peninsula resident 60 years and a member of First United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Webster Nightengale; one daughter, Sylvia Fay MacNeil of Hampton; two sons, William Neil Nightengale of Silver Spring, Md., and Robert W. Nightengale of Shadford, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Rudolph Benesh and Dr. Robert Marr.
