Anna Ruth Ford Crow, 88, of Ooltewah, TN died on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at her residence. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Anna Ruth was retired from Davenport Hosiery Mills and Buster Brown Company. Anna Ruth retired after 17 years of service with Wal-Mart on Gunbarrel Road.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William C. Ford; and her second husband, Dennis M. Crow; her daughter, Delores Ann Whitaker.
Surviving relatives are her sons, Donald W. Ford and Gary E. (Sharon) Ford, both of Chattanooga, TN; brother, John W. Worley of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Catherine Gilliam of Chickamauga, GA; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwight Wilson officiating..
The interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga 4413 Oakwood Dr., Chattanooga, TN 37416.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN.
