Mrs. Allie G. Raines
Mrs. Allie Gallahan, Raines, 91 of Spotsylvania County, died Friday at Mary Washington Hospital.
A resident of the Holiday's area of Sotsylvania her entire life, she was the oldest living member of Kirk'O Cliff Presbyterian Church in Mineral. She was the widow of Wyntoun Wingfield Raines.
Mrs. Raines is survived by six sons; J Milton Raines, Edgar C Raines, George G Raines, Eugene S Raines and Willard T Raines all of Spotsylvania and Walter W Raines of Winston Salem N.C.; a daughter Mrs. Frances H Langridge of Spotsylvania; a brother Jesse Gallahan of Spotsylvania and a sister Mrs. Lucy Curtis of Fredericksburg; 13 grandchildren, 22 great granchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm. Sunday at Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Nora T Tisdale officiating, assisted by the Rev. david Breeden. Buriel will be in the Raines Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be W.O. Harris, Fred Harris, W. D. Harris, Robert Goodwin, James Williams and Henry Williams.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
