Rites Held Today For Mrs. Gallahan

Mrs. Lucy Gallahan, wife of the late Joseph M. Gallahan, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lucy Curtis in Spotsylvania County, Saturday of Bronchial Pneumonia, she was 76 years old.

Funeral services were held at Mine Road Baptist Church in Spotsylvania, conducted by the Rev. C.E. Sanders, this afternoon and interment took place in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Gallahan is survived by 13 children, 76 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The children are Mrs. Susie Grucey, Eureka ill, Mrs. Lizzie Williams, Stafford, Mrs. Mollie Williams and Mrs. Allie Raines, Belmont, Mrs. Mamie Carr and Mrs. Virginia Lloyd, Jones Store; Mrs. Walter Curtis, Spotsylvania, Bennie Gallahan, Washington, French Gallahan, Stafford, Henry and Mack Gallahan, Jones Store, and Jesse amd Joe Willie gallahan, Alsop.

Active pallbearers all grandsons of deceased were; Milton Raines, Robert Williams, Willie Williams, Maurice Williams, Avery Gallahan and Edgar Raines.
