BURNSVILLE - M. L. "Levi" Shackelford, 80, died Monday at the Tishomingo County Hospital after a brief illness. He was a retired schoolteacher and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elwyn McCutcheon officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Eutra Wamsley Shackelford of Burnsville; two daughters, Martha Moss of Tishomingo and Sandra Thorne of Burnsville; three sons, David Keith Shackelford of Dillon, S. C., Donald Wayne Shackelford of Burnsville and Stanley Scott Shackelford of Albuquerque, N. M.; two sisters, Verna Mae Greene of Tishomingo and Irene Wroten of Booneville; one brother, Clovis Shackelford of Booneville; 12 grandchildren.
