FRESNO, Calif. - Elsie Mae Guyll, 96, who was known for taking care of children and the elderly, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007. She was 96.

A graveside service will be held later at Olney Cemetery.

Mrs. Guyll was born Sept. 12, 1910, to Walter and Olive Reimann.

She married Harold G. Guyll on May 7, 1932. Mrs. Guyll worked for many years at Medical Center Pharmacy, retiring in 1974.

Mrs. Guyll lived most of her life in Pendleton, moving to Fresno in 2003.

She is survived by son Gary Guyll of Pasco; daughter Brenda Howard of Fresno, Calif.; sisters Viola Gruver of Portland and Alice Cardwell, Beulah Chaney, Betty Fordice, all of Pendleton; brother Bud Reiman of Pendleton; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Guyll was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister June Reimann.
