Obituary:
Rosary for William A. Volz 79 member of a pioneer family of this area, who died Monday, will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Zizik-Kearns Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and at 8:45 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church with a requiem mass to be offered by Rt. Rev. P. J. Schneizer. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Socity Cemetery.
Volz of 934 West Kings Highway, was a brother of the late Mrs. Margaret Hirt and J. J. Volz.
Surviving are a sister, Miss Louise Volz; two brothers, Henry M. and Jacob P. Volz, all of San Antonio; and nephews Rudy Hirt, Henry Volz, Richard Volz, Walter Volz, Martin Volz, and Joseph J. Volz, who will be pallbearers.
